China is one of the lucky ones. As a pitbull puppy there are a lot of strikes against you. But, despite the odds, China found a home with a loving family. All was going great until, in the way only clumsy puppies can, China fell off the porch and broke her leg. Her owners took her to see Dr. Peck, fearing that China would lose a leg. Thank God, Dr. Peck said that he wouldn’t amputate if he felt he could save the leg, and he felt he could. Finances were an issue, but because of our wonderful donors, Houndhaven Helps was able to step in and China was able to keep her leg! By all accounts, China is a super sweet and precious girl who deserves our help. Her owners were very grateful and sent us this email:
” I wanted to reach out to you to give my gratitude for the amazing blessing you gave my family. Without your help our baby China would have lost her leg and we just cannot thank you enough for what you did for us. I will do my best to keep in touch and give you progress updates throughout her recovery and future. I pray that one day we can give back to repay you for all you have done.”
